School Council
- Your Ideas, Our Action -
The school council, consisting of a democratically elected representative from each class in Year 1 to Year 6, serves as a platform for pupils to voice their opinions and contribute to positive changes across the school.
Engaging pupils in real-life issues fosters the development of essential life skills and British values such as positive mental health, emotional literacy, critical and moral reasoning, self-esteem, self-awareness, and a sense of community.
Every pupil has the opportunity to participate through regular class council meetings, where representatives gather feedback and opinions from their peers. The School Council maintains a noticeboard displaying information about current initiatives and each class has a School Council suggestion box, where pupils can submit ideas for discussion in future meetings.
